We love berries in our home! They delight our senses and are just beautiful to look at. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries. You name a berry, and at least one person in my family is bound to love one. Not only do they taste and smell delicious, they also pack a punch! Berries are full of antioxidants, NATURAL sugar, and are LOADED with fiber. Did you know that 1 cup of raspberries has 8 grams of fiber? They are a perfect treat for kids! Of course we eat them plain most of the time, but today we made quick and simple berry shortcakes with whipped cream. Personally, I can eat the berries with just a little sugar! (Ok, maybe some whipped cream on the side too). And with most of them on sale at my beloved Publix this week (including the shortcakes for .99!), it was a steal!
